RE: COVID-19
Dear Friends and fellow Destination Seekers,
First and foremost, we hope you, your family and community are staying safe and healthy during these difficult times. It is D.Alexander's responsibility and passion to serve you with the best destination homes and experience. To that end, we wanted to inform you of the extra steps that we are taking to ensure that D. Alexander properties are the safest and cleanest retreat destinations. We’re following recommendations from the CDC and adhering to Government guidelines, we advise you to do the same.
Rigorous Sanitation:
In addition to our standard protocols, we have implemented new policies and products that include commercial grade cleaners and antibacterial soaps (as well as pre-check-in sanitation and inspections). We’ve extended our Concierge Services to mitigate the need to leave your home and to ensure that the home is rigorously disinfected and cleaned. Our goal is to keep you and your family safe and healthy.
Flexible Travel:
We want to help you travel responsibly. Over the last few days, Federal and local officials have mandated certain restrictions regarding public gatherings and travel. We want to give you the confidence that D. Alexander can offer flexibility regarding your reservations. After March 17th, 2020 D. Alexander will provide a full refund in the form of a Credit for any cancellations made prior to your scheduled arrival date. These credits can be used for future stays at any D. Alexander home within one year of cancellation.
Gas Reimbursement:
Additionally, for those driving to our homes in the next four weeks, we will cover the cost of gas! To help you avoid air travel, if you drive to one of our homes in the next four weeks, we will reimburse you in the form of a gift card for your gas expense.
Flexible Extended Stays:
In uncertain times like these, we want to provide a place for you and your family to safely practice social distancing and give you a place of refuge and peace. We know these are unforeseen circumstances and discounts are available for those who want to extend their stay. Ask about availability here.
Our Commitment to The Crisis:
As we continue to learn more about COVID-19 and its impact on the world, we know the importance of friendship, community, and teamwork. We all need each other.
Starting March, 18th, 2020, a portion of the total reservation value made through D. Alexander directly will be set aside to donate to a charity that is in need of support during this crisis.
